William Hixson opened the pharmacy first in Ozark in 1918. In 1921, he moved the pharmacy to Billings but relocated it back to Ozark in 1923. It has operated continuously since that time being owned by only three individuals, we are now approaching our 100th anniversary.

Carolyn and I have had the privilege to own and operate the pharmacy since 1979. We moved from the square in 1985 after 62 years at the same location. We had great success at our second location on 3rd Street for 20 years before moving to our present location on South Street.

We have expanded into integrated health care with my wife who is a retired critical care nurse, now an herbalist, nutritionist, and naturopath. We have a wide selection of alternative choices at our Apothecary Aromas & More.
